I disagree with the two other comments about the vocals being repetitive, I think they're fine for what the genre is. They drive the track as it goes on, Motif Melody Groove, all come from the vocal chops and I love that.

It's a fantastic track. The only critisim I would give would be to maybe create more segments like the one around 2:30 / 2:40ish, a nice break that lets some other elements shine, which we kinda see around 3:00 too, which is pretty nice.

I mean, it's a really great track all the way through. It's just not going to be something everyone picks up and appreciates.

I managed to get to this track during my review run right as my edible kicked in and I'm so glad I did. This track is so lovely. Very 90s/Y2K coded. Such an outstanding track.

I don't really have critisim for this but I will say I would take a little more time to possible narrow the EQ range of each instrument just a tiny bit more. Everything feels like it might have been EQ'd together on the master as opposed to individually, and while I don't know if that's the case it's just the only thing I could really pick apart, I wanted to provide Critisim but not really nitpick.

This is really well mixed, especially with how tight the drums are. The synths also play well into each other. You make such few instruments sound so much wider and present than they really are. Very tight work.

Thank you so much!

Genre wise this isn't for me, but it's really really well mixed and I wanted to say fantastic job on that.

I really really enjoy this. It's quite lovely and fits the artwork perfectly.

Whoa

Really solid mixing here. Progression seems like a slow incline but I like that, very intentional and flourishes when it deserves to. Really great work. I think the legnth of tracks like this tend to give people listening to it a different perspective than those looking to give feedback, and as a listener I enjoyed it. As someone looking to give feedback I think the track also works, it's got a beginning, middle, end, an outro, nice buildups, and most importantly the mixing in the third act doesn't degrade for the sake of including the break drums. It;s a nice track, really solid.

This is exactly the kind of experimental stuff I wish blew up more on NewGrounds. Really solid work.

I agree with other reviews discussing the mixing needing improvement, but otherwise as raw as this is it's quite good.

Always awesome to see people listing what they've learned and how the track developed over time.

I think one piece of advice I could give with this is using compression to fix some of the crunch in the mix. A lot of the low and high end have some clipping occuring, noticeable at higher volumes but not anything that's ruining the track.

Your use of the reverse verb is fantastic, as is the sampling.

Fantastic job.

I disagree with the comment about the drums and repetitive nature. I think music being "repetitive" is a subjective thing. It comes down to things like genre, preference, intention, ect. On top of that, I think the drums fit nicely in the mix.
